{"id":164,"date":"2009-11-02T18:24:12","date_gmt":"2009-11-02T23:24:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fruechtetheory.com\/blog\/?p=164"},"modified":"2009-11-03T07:35:23","modified_gmt":"2009-11-03T12:35:23","slug":"pulsars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fruechtetheory.com\/blog\/2009\/11\/02\/pulsars\/","title":{"rendered":"Pulsars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a January 6, 2009 article from Symmetry Magazine entitled \u201cFermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope discovers slew of new pulsars\u201d, by Kelen Tuttle, we find the following text:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 12 newly discovered pulsars offer insight into the mechanism behind the gamma-ray emissions. The data show that the classic understanding of emission, whereby gamma rays are created in the same location as radio waves, is mistaken. Researchers now theorize that the radio beams form near the neutron star\u2019s surface, while the gamma rays form far above.\u201d [1]<\/p>\n<p>Let us say there is a very large rock \u2018far above\u2019 a \u201crapidly spinning neutron star\u201d.\u00a0 Each time an intense area of the neutron star\u2019s rotating magnetic field passes over and through the conventional interstellar mass, subatomic particles in the mass will fly apart into gamma rays.\u00a0 This periodic pulse of gamma rays and other radiation is called a Pulsar.<\/p>\n<p>As to why \u201cgravitons like to follow gently arcing uniform magnetic field lines\u201d [2], it works a little like the uncertainty principle.\u00a0 The magnetic field of a graviton would like to line up with a very strong environmental magnetic field, however oscillating at 7.562 x 10<sup>22<\/sup> Hz perpendicular to the graviton\u2019s direction of travel, it cannot decide which way to turn, and therefore the graviton&#8217;s magnetic field actually ends up perpendicular to the intense environmental magnetic field.\u00a0 The graviton therefore travels along the magnetic field lines of an intense magnetic field as long as the turns are not too sharp.<\/p>\n<p>One thing we should keep in mind here is that the distances in interstellar space written of are typically orders of magnitude larger than our solar system for example.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know what distance is meant by \u201cfar above\u201d.\u00a0 The FGST people did not invite me to their symposium in Washington D.C. this week, and typically do not allow me into their discussion groups.\u00a0 We were in Washington D.C. this summer anyway, and I don\u2019t feel like going back so soon.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>[1]\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.symmetrymagazine.org\/breaking\/2009\/01\/06\/fermi-gamma-ray-space-telescope-discovers-slew-of-new-pulsars\">http:\/\/www.symmetrymagazine.org\/breaking\/2009\/01\/06\/fermi-gamma-ray-space-telescope-discovers-slew-of-new-pulsars<\/a><\/p>\n<p>[2]\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fruechtetheory.com\/blog\/2009\/03\/15\/electric-charges\/\">https:\/\/www.fruechtetheory.com\/blog\/2009\/03\/15\/electric-charges\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a January 6, 2009 article from Symmetry Magazine entitled \u201cFermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope discovers slew of new pulsars\u201d, by Kelen Tuttle, we find the following text: \u201cThe 12 newly discovered pulsars offer insight into the mechanism behind the gamma-ray emissions.
